Kentwood Community church offers a divorce recovery ministry - a step-by-step program to encourage people and give them hope as they rebuild their lives.
Future Hope is Christ-centered, with a mission to glorify God while creating a safe environment where hurting people can heal on their path to full recovery. People leave the program with a new sense of hope and new friendships with others who understand what they are experiencing.
All Future Hope facilitators have gone through and recovered from divorce. They share how the power of God's love affected their own recovery and show others how they can begin, or continue, their own journey on the road to recovery.
The program is based on a nationally recognized divorce recovery process and uses video presentation and small group discussions to equip people with the tools they need for recovery. Topics covered include:
