Church Planting
KCC has been active in starting new churches in Cambodia for over ten years, in partnership with Global Partners, the international missions agency of The Wesleyan Church. We’ve helped start 25 “teaching points” throughout Cambodia, which are homes or locations where the gospel is regularly proclaimed. Dozens of KCCers have served on eight work teams to help build and furnish six church buildings.
Wesleyan Bible Institute
In order to start new churches, we must help train and equip new leaders (both pastors and lay leaders). That’s why we also support the Wesleyan Bible Institute, which offers a three-year Bible education program. Right now, the Wesleyan Bible Institute can only accommodate one class of 28 students every three years. The need for new churches and new leaders is great in this predominantly Buddhist country. That’s why we’re making plans to build a new building for the Wesleyan Bible Institute which will allow us to start a new class of 28 students every year and provide housing for single students, married students and staff.
